Job Purpose
Based in London, Paddington, and reporting to the Managing Director UK & Ireland, the Account Executive’s primary role is to manage business development in UK and Ireland by creating and closing new business opportunities. By taking a consultative selling approach throughout the sales cycle, he/she will leverage internal resources, digital marketing expertise and client insight to generate leads, book meetings and lead the sales process until closing.
Key Responsibilities
- Create new business opportunities and lead the sales process till closure;
- Develop strategy, tactics, sales plans and profit targets;
- Provide an interface between the sales function and other functional areas of the business;
- Work with Pre-sales Consultant to devise the sales strategy, value proposition and joint presentation;
- Provide timely and accurate commercial proposals while maintaining maximum profit margin;
- Manage RFPs responses and create/lead proposal presentations;
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal network and participating in professional membership organisations;
- Manage the local partner strategy (solution partners and technology vendors);
- Provide a regular reporting of pipeline, business development and other sales topics;
- Work in team within the UK Office.
Skills / Qualifications
- Educated to degree level (minimum BA/BSc);
- 3-5 years in sales / business development;
- Fluent English;
- A proven digital marketing experience with media customer base (broadcasters, VOD players) in the EMEA zone is a significant plus;
- Knowledge of Salesforce CRM is a plus;
- Strong track record of closing new business opportunities and engaging with senior stakeholders, ideally in the software industry with a SaaS business model;
- Strong prospecting and negotiation skills;
- Strong understanding and passion for all digital marketing channels;
- Established and recognised network in Digital Analytics sector is a big plus;
- Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentation;
- Willingness to travel
